London, England – December 21, 2022 – Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) has been the most consistent rider at the FEI-level the past twelve months and the Swede has honored his lead in the world rider ranking in more one way, not only through the points he has achieved during the period..
Von Eckermann is also the frontrunner of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup – Western European League standings after the eighth leg during the 2022 London International Horse Show CSI 5*-W last Sunday in London, England.
He has accumulated a total of 58 points in the league standings so far while his closests rivals, Harry Charles (GBR), and Kevin Staut (FRA) five points behind. Despite having the same amount of points as Charles (GBR), Staut (FRA) loses to him when it comes to the best result criteria.
Julien Epaillard (FRA) is fourth by having tallied a total of 49 points while Daniel Deusser (GER) rounds the top five with a combined score of 45 points. The ninth leg of the 14 scheduled for the 2022/2023 Western European League series is set to take place next week at Mechelen, Belgium.
