Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 11, 2022 – Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Jr. powered past the competition and towards victory in the €26,050 Speed Challenge CSI 3* last Friday during the fifth week of the 2022 VillaMoura Champions Tour at the VillaMoura Equestrian Centre.

The Brazilian and the 2009 bay Oldenburg stallion (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Quattro 7) were supreme in the 1.45m covering the course in flawless and quick manner before crossing the finish line in 64.48 seconds.

Maelle Martin (FRA) and Epsy Mouche (Quintus d’09 x Kannan) tried to give the eventual winners a run for their money, falling short due to their time of 65.80 seconds, which was just enough to nip the next two for silver honors.

Holly Smith (GBR) and Don Vito (Quaprice Bois Margot x Jus de Pomme) were right on the heels of the previous pair, rounding out the top three only six-hundredths of a second behind, timed in 65.86 seconds.
