Monterrey, Mexico – November 06, 2022 – Natalie Dean (USA) and Cocolina opened the final day of competition during stage 7 of the Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) series with a win in the MXN $740,000 Afflux Winning Round CSI 5*. She and Cocolina, an 11-year-old Oldenburg mare (Conthargos x Papillon Rouge) topped a ten-horse jump-off to take the victory.
The American was supreme against 9 other combinations in the final round, registering no penalties again aboard the 11-year-old Oldenburg chestnut mare (Conthargos x Papillon Rouge) while crossing the finish line in 43.50 seconds at the end of their second run.
Tanimara Maria Macari Carillo (MEX) and Cordelia GP Z (Cero x Heartbreaker) were just over a second slower than the winning duo in the decisive round, earning reserve honors in honors in 44.55 seconds.
Despite having one time-penalty in the first round Mimi Gochman (USA) and Cosmos BH (Chellano Alpha Z x Artos Z) were not only able to advance to the decisive round but also managed to secure the third spot on due podium after completely their second performance in flawless fashion while tripping the timers in 44.78 seconds.
