Winner’s Circle – Max Thirouin (FRA)
“Let’s say all the planets seem to be aligned! I had an accident some time ago which prevented me from riding for a long time; I managed to get back in the saddle before Lisbon where Utopia took the victory! Just before, it was her turn to be stopped for almost a month and a half because of a lung infection. We made our return to Mâcon, a competition in which Utopia won a class counting for the ranking; then we continued in Cluny , where she placed in the Grand Prix. At the moment, she is really on top! Might as well take advantage of it. This weekend, she will run the big race at 1.50m level with jump-off tomorrow, and on Sunday the Grand Prix. I am delighted to to be back at the Hubside Jumping. I didn’t come this year, and Henk Nooren did very well to submit this last outdoor competition to me!”
