
Grimaud, France – September 25, 2022 – Lorenzo de Luca (ITA) and Dirka de Blondel were back in the winner’s circle last Sunday during the third week of the Hubside Jumping’s Fall Tour CSI 2*. The dynamic duo claimed victory in the €25,500 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 2* , concluding another successful week at Haras des Grillons.

After having won the €25,500 Hubside Store Speed Challenge CSI 2* the week before at the same venue, de Luca and Poden Farms‘ 13-year-old Selle Français mare (Very Berlin de Castel x Lauterbach) were supreme again in another 1.45m challenge. This time it was not a contest against the clock meanin that they had to register two great performances and eventualy overcome 10 other pairs in the tiebreaker, doing so in 36.17 seconds.
Alexa Ferrer (FRA) and Vitalhorse Cekanane de Ushara (Kannan x Quaprice Bois Margot) put in a great effort but had to settle for second place despite a clean scorecard, tripping the jump-off timers in 37.78 seconds.
Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Denerys du Montceau (L’Arc de Triomphe*Bois Margot x Rox de La Touche) were just over two-tenths of a second slower than the latter two, completing the podium backed by penalty-free jump-off round in 37.99 seconds.
