Kronenberg, The Netherlands – September 15, 2022 – Mel Thijssen (NED) once again stole the spotlight at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre. The Duthc rider and Florida Balia NL claimed victory in the feature class of the day, the €26,400 Roelofsen Horsetrucks Prix CSI 3*.
Thijssen and the 2010 bay Dutch Warmblood mare (Bustique x Lux Z) topped the 1.45m speed challenge, going up against 81 other combinations, doing so by being over two seconds faster than their closest rivals. with a blazing performance in 61.07 seconds.
Mouda Zeyada (EGY) and Katia (Emerald x Lancelot) secured silver honors backed by a fault-free effort in 64.37 seconds while Marco Kutscher (GER) and Carriado (Carrico x Acorado) rounded out the top three in 65.66 seconds.
