Emanuele Gaudiano & Crack Balou are the Best in Speed Challenge CSI 4* at Tops International Arena

Valkenswaard, The Netherlands – July 30, 2022 – There was a wide range of nationalities joining the winner’s enclosure on the first day of the Summer Event CSI 4* & 2* at Tops International Arena. Italian speed merchant Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) secured the lion’s share of Speed Challenge CSI 4* aboard the lighting fast Crack Balou.

Fifteen of the 39 combinations who took part in the 1.50m challenge manage to complete the course in flawless fashion but it was the Italian and the 10-year-old dark bay Hannoverian stallion (Balou du Reventon x Chacco-Blue) who came out on top, blazing across the course before crossing the finish line in 60.65 seconds.

With music flowing around the venue, crowds moved from the buzzing Place de Concorde to watch Simon Delestre (FRA) have to settle for second place by half a second on Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado x Voltaire), timed in 61.03 seconds.

Home hero Kevin Jochems (NED) continued his flying form to claim third on Cornetboy (Cornet’s Stern x Colander), backed by a performance in 61.31 seconds.
