Yuri Mansur & Away Semilly Soar to First in €25,500 Zangersheide Prix CSI 2* at Peelbergen

Kronenberg, The Netherlands – June 09, 2022 – Yuri Mansur (BRA) stole the spotlight on the first day of FEI-competition this week at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre. Held at the Milestone Farm arena, the Brazilian teamed up with Away Semilly, claiming top honors in the feature class of the day, the €25,500 Zangersheide Prix CSI 2*.

Thirty-seven combinations took part in the first round of the 1.45m jump-off challenge and seventeen managed to complete it without having any penalties attributed to them, thus advancing to the decisve round. In the end, it was the Brazilian and the 2010 chestnut Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Watzmann) who flew past the competition backed by a penalty-free performance in 36.10 seconds.

Catherine Pasmore (USA) and Kellano DeglI Assi were not too far off the pace of the eventual winners, finishing second in 36.49 seconds.

René Tebbel (UKR) and Carrement J&F Champblanc (Casalito x San Patrignano Cassini) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a final time of 36.70 seconds.
