Rome, Italy – May 24, 2022 – It’s showtime for showjumping at Piazza di Siena once again during the 89th edition of the CSIO 5* di Roma. Just as spectators paid reverence to the gladiators of ancient times as they battled head-to-head, the historic Italian capital has attracted the Titans of the sport, riders and their flying beasts in a display of power and speed as showjumping fans honor the best.

Besides the Rolex Grand Prix CSIO 5* next Sunday, the event is also highlighted by the Nations Cup CSIO 5* next Friday, featuring teams from 10 different nations. Martin Fuchs (SUI), Steve Guerdat (SUI), Simon Delestre (FRA), Darragh Kenny (IRL), Kevin Staut (FRA), Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), Sergio Álvarez Moya (ESP), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Jérôme Guery (BEL), Lorenzo de Luca (ITA), Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA), Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA), amongst others.
