Madrid, Spain – May 11, 2022 – One of the most traditional events of the noble sport, the 111th edition of the CSI of Madrid is on this week, hosting the fourth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) and Global Champions League (GCL). Sergio Álvarez Moya (ESP) and Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (ESP) are two of the iconic world-class riders who lead the “Spanish Armada” against the likes of Marcus Ehning (GER), Harrie Smolders (NED), Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE), Pius Schwizer (SUI), Darragh Kenny (IRL), Denis Lynch (IRL), Pieter Devos (BEL), Marlon Zanotelli (BRA), Jur Vrieling (NED), Spencer Smith (USA), amongst others.
