Hans-Thorben Rüder Races to the Top in €25,650 Grand Prix of Riesenbeck CSI 2*

Riesenbeck, Germany – May 07, 2022 – Hans-Thorben Rüder (GER) and Dakota 420 capped off a successful week at the Riesenbeck International CSI 2* last Saturday. After finishing third in the €26,000 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* last Thursday, the duo were back on the podium, this time two steps higher, clinching the win in the €25,650 Grand Prix of Riesenbeck CSI 2*. The German and the 11-year-old dark bay Zangersheide mare (Ustinov x Caretino 2) were the fastest ones among five combinations who registered a clean scorecard, out of a total of eleven pairs that had qualified for the jump-off, securing the win in 37.37 seconds.

Andreas Schou (DEN) and I Know (Arezzo VDL x Hors de La Loi II) came very close to the win, having it seen it slip away by only one-tenth of a second (37.47 seconds) while Philip Houston (GER) & Sandro’s Bella ( Sandro Boy x Chacco-Blue) completed the podium backed by a final time of 37.84 seconds.
