Renwick Races to Victory in €25,500 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* at Montefalco

Montefalco, Italy – May 05 2022– Laura Renwick (GBR) raced to victory in the €25,500 Grimaldi Lines Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* last Thursday during the opening week of the 2022 Sagrantino Tour at the Le Lame Horses Sporting Club. The all-time great British equestrian teamed up with Dublin V, claiming top honors in the feature class of the day at the Italian equestrian venue.

Riding the 2008 chestnut Dutch Warmblood gelding (Vigaro x Calvados / Sable Rose) with near perfection towards a penalty-free performance in the first section, Renwick was off to the races in the final part, yet still delivering a clean blazing run in 27.44 seconds for the victory.

It was a great day for British showjumping and for women since Charlene Stick (GBR) and Oligar Angelus (Durffee x Allusion x Crystal) secured reserve honors in 29.79 seconds while Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and Sea Coast Monalisa Van’t Paradijs (Bamako de Muze x Emerald) completed the all-female podium in 29.97 seconds.
