
Mexico City, Mexico – April 29, 2022 – The second day of top sport began on Friday Friday morning at the 2022 edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour Mexico CSI 5* & 2*, presented by GNP Seguros. Mexico got off to a great star, claiming the win in the $551,500 CDMX Trophy CSI 2*.
The Olympic rider Jose Antonio Chedraui (MEX) was the absolute winner of the 1.45m speed challenge. The experienced jockey and his mare H-Lucky Retto posted a fast and faultless ride with a time of 62.11 seconds.
Just as the day before, the young Mexican rider Francisco Pasquel Vega (MEX) and Dominant 2000 Z finished second, completing their round in 63.12 seconds.
It was an all-Mexican podium as Gonzalo Azcarraga (MEX) and Haiti Z rounded out the top three after a clean run in 64.15 seconds.
