Grimaud, France – April 08, 2022 – Once again, French riders stole the spotlight at the Hubside Jumping CSI 3* & 2* this Friday. Roger Yves Bost (FRA) and Urane did the honors for Les Bleus, racing towards victory in the €25,500 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 2*.
The first major CSI 2* contest of the week featured 40 combinations from eight different countries but it was “Bosty” and the 2008 chestnut Selle Français mare (Miami de Semilly x Drakkar des Hutins) who were the best, doing so after completing their penalty-free jump-off performance in 39.19 seconds.
After winning the main class yesterday, Julien Anquetin (FRA) came close to another important victory, this time riding Ivizi to a second-place finish. The duo were also double clear, tripping the final timers in 41.07 seconds to secure silver honors.
Despite French domination, a spice of samba helped Olivier Perreau (FRA) earn bronze honors. The Frenchman pranced and danced on the course aboard Bresil de Carnaval (Mylord Carthago*HN x Rosire), crossing the finish line in 41.94 seconds.
