Wellington, Florida, USA – March 27, 2022 – Besides the Big Tour Grand Prix CSI 4*, another major class took place last Sunday on the final day of the Spring edition of the 2022 Andalucía Sunshine Tour as Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior stole the spotlight claiming the win in the €30,480 Medium Tour Invitational CSI 4* .
Veniss who rode his 13-year-old bay Oldenburg gedling (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Quattro 7) to win the 1.50m challenge against 11 combinations that had advanced to the jump-off., registering no penalties while stopping the final timers in 39.97 seconds.
Just behind the winners completing the jump-off course in 40.26 seconds, it was the German rider, Laura Klaphake (GER) with ‘Davenport VDL’ (Diamant de Semilly x Indoctro).
After Laura, the Spanish Olympic rider Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (ESP) claimed third place with with ‘Full Option Van’t Zand’ and in fourth was Karl Robins (GBR) with ‘Equine America G Camille HBF’.
