
Riesenbeck, Germany – March 27, 2022 – Felix Haßmann (GER) and Cayenne WZ flew to first place in the €25,500 Grand Prix of Riesenbeck CSI 2*, the feature class of the week held last Sunday during the Riesenbeck International CSI 2* at Ludger Beerbaum‘s renowned venue.
A total of 37 combinations entered the ring for the 1.50m challenge with 12 of them advancing to the jump-off. One of the fastest riders in the world, Haßmann was in for a real challenge aboard 17-year-old grey Holsteiner gelding (Claudio 8 x Ramirado), securing the win after a penalty-free jump-off performance in 39.75 seconds.

Jeremy Sweetnam (IRL) and Brown Star Z (Big Star Jr. K Z x Numero Uno) gave the eventual winners a run for their money, finishing second only due to their final time of 39.96 seconds.

Organizer of the event, Ludger Beerbaum (GER) lived up to expectactions aboard Cool Feeling (Cornado I x Lancer II), backed by two fault-free efforts, the decisive one in 40.40 seconds.
