VillaMoura, Portugal – February 25, 2022 – Guy Williams (GBR) and Rouge de Ravel wrote another victorious chapter in their book of great achievements at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre. On Friday, the top combination were supreme in the €25,500 Jump-off Challenge CSI 3*
Having won several times at the venue, Guy Williams (GBR) and the 2005 bay Selle Français stallion (Ultimo Van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) galloped towards another victory there, clearing all the 1.45m obstacles they face both in the first round and tiebreakers, securing the win in 35.27 seconds.
Laurent Goffinet (FRA) and Atome des Etisses (Mylord Carthago*HN x Quidam de Revel) were just over a half-second off the pace of the eventual winners, registering a clean scorecard and a final time of 35.79 seconds.
The host nation was represented on the podium by Duarte Seabra (POR), who rode HHS Washington (Tinaranas Inspector x Cavalier Royale) towards bronze honors in 36.17 seconds.
