More Gold & Glory for Julien Epaillard at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 3*

Oliva Nova, Spain – February 18, 2022 – After winning the first major class of the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring Tour II on Thursday, Julien Epaillard (FRA) was back more more gold and glory CSI 3*. This time, the Frenchman teamed up with Billabong du Roumois to be the best in the โ‚ฌ26,200 Emiralia Horse Corporation Trophy CSI 3*.

The Flying Frenchman and the 2011 chestnut Selle Franรงais gelding (Mylord Carthago*HN x Papillon Rouge*Normandie) advanced to the second phase by leaving all the poles up for no penalties and completing the first section within the time allowed. The dynamic duo continued onto the second phase and gave no chance to the rest of the field, completing it flawlessly in 24 seconds flat.

Despite being a new partnership, Constant van Paesschen (BEL) and Veronese Teamjoy (Toulon x Dollar Dela Pierre) showed great potential, claiming second place in 26.04 seconds.

Once again Harry Charles (GBR) lived up to expectation and to his number world ranking as a young rider, guiding Stardust ( Chacco-Blue x Con Air 7) towards a third-place finish in 26.23 seconds.
