A Sweet Victory for Ciaran Nallon & Dolce Vita des Ouches in €25,500 Small Tour Grand Prix CSI 4* at the Sunshine Tour

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 13, 2022 – The first week of the 2022 Sunshine Tour CSI 4* conclude with another Irish victory last Sunday. Victory certainly feels sweet and even more so as ‘Dolce Vita Des Ouches powered Ciaran Nallon (IRL) towards first place in the €25,500 Small Tour Grand Prix CSI 4*.

The Irishman and the 9-year-old overcame 45 other combinations in the 1.45m challenge, 10 of them had advanced to the tiebreaker, posting a penalty-free performance in 33.82 seconds.

Helmut Schönstetter (GER) & EIC Julius Caesar

The next two spots on the podim were claimed by German riders as Helmut Schönstetter (GER) rode ‘EIC Julius Caesar‘ (Couleur Rubin x Cancara) towards silver honors, backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of 34.03 seconds.

Karin Ernsting (GER) & ‘D-Coroquada I

The third spot on the podium was claimed by Karin Ernsting (GER), who guided ‘D-Coroquada I‘ (Contender x Coronado) flawlessly over the two rounds too, tripping the jump-off timers in 35.48 seconds.

Danish Benedikte Rie Truelsen (DEN) with ‘Hait Ask‘ and the Belgian Jordy Van Massenhove (BEL) with ‘Verdiamo Z ‘ rounded out the Top-5.
