
Riesenbeck, Germany – February 06, 2022 – Benjamin Wulschner (GER) and Prieuré 3 were at their very best, powering to win the €25,650 Grand Prix of Riesenbeck CSI 2* on Sunday during the Riesenbeck International CSI 2* at Ludger Beerbaum’s Riesenbeck Equestrian Centre.
The German galloped towards gold aboard the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Perigueux x Acord II) backed by two penalty-free performances, the decisive one in 33.76 seconds.

The level of the 1.45m jump-off challenge was high, highlight by the presence of John Whitaker (GBR), who rode Unick du Francport (Zandor x Helios de La Cour II) to second place. The all-time great and the 14-year-old bay Selle Français gelding also posted two fault-free efforts, the second one in 35.55 seconds.

The host nation managed to put two of their riders on the podium as Gerrit Nieberg (GER) guided Ben 431 (Sylvain x Quincy Jones) for bronze honors in 36.34 seconds.
