
Oliva Nova, Spain – January 29, 2022 – Guy Williams (GBR) and Rouge de Ravel were off to the races and to the winner’s circle once again last Saturday, claiming top honors in the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 3* during the third and final week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Spring Tour I.
A total of 69 combinations entered the ring for the 1.45m jump-off challenge with some of the biggest names in the sport fielding their future stars. Williams and the 2005 bay Selle Français stallion (Ultimo Van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) blazed through the decisive course despite leaving all the poles up for no penalties, crossing the finish line in 36.85 seconds.
Jérôme Guery (BEL) and Grupo Prom Diego (Verdi TN x Gran Corrado) powered towards two penalty-free performances too, earning silver honors in 38.03 seconds.
Fanny Skalli Guerdat (SUI) continues to show progress with her faithful partner Jonka-A (Cardento 933), registering a clean jump-off effort in 38.16 seconds.
