
Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates – January 07, 2021 – David Will (GER) got off to a great start at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club last Friday, claiming the win in the $129,000 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4*-W. A total 51 combinations entered the ring to face the 1.45m obstacles on a course designed by Peter Schumacher (GER) with the German and the 10-year-old Bavarian Warmblood (Colorit x San Patrignano Cassini) advancing to and completing the second section of the course without having any penalties attributed to them, securing top honors in 22.27 seconds.
Abdullah Alsharbatly(KSA) and Larry were the closest ones, finishing second only due to their final time of 22.85 seconds.
David Will‘s (GER) feat was enhanced by the fact that he also managed to bookend the podium, rounding out the top three with another clear all the way to the wire, this time aboard Forest Gump (Forsyth x Feuerwerk) crossing the finish line in 23.62 seconds.
