Poznań, Cavaliada – December 16, 2021 – The Big Tour class, for the prize of the National Support Centre for Agriculture and under the patronage of Tobilet.pl, saw 51 combinations on the start list. 13 of them went clear over two phases of the course, designed by Marco Hesse. Ultimately, the 20-year-old young rider Hannes Ahlmann (GER) took home the win with the grey Caracas 105.
“I really appreciate my horse and how she jumped today. She felt great. There was nice rhythm, and she went over perfectly. She is 9 years old, and I have been riding her for 2,5 years. She is one of my favourite mares at home, I call her a princess. She is really easy to ride and always on your side. It’s my first time competing at Cavaliada. It’s only the first day and the tribunes are already full of audiences supporting you, it’s great. “
Second place went to home rider Kamil Grzelczyk (POL) with Wibaro. “I went at the end, so I knew how the others did and where are the biggest questions of the course. Wibaro jumped great. We didn’t manage to win, but I plan to ride him tomorrow in the ranking class as well.” – said the rider. Austria’s Stefan Eder (AUT) closed off the podium riding Dr. Scarpo.
