Kaitlin Campbell & Palina de L’Escaut Claim $37,000 Power & Speed Welcome CSI 4*-W at Fort Worth

Forth Worth, Texas – December 15, 2021 – Power & Speed was the name of the game last night during the opening day of the Split Rock Jumping Tour‘s inaugural Fort Worth International CSI 4*-W at Will Rogers Coliseum. Kaitlin Campbell (USA) and Palina de L’Escaut stole the spotlight, topping the first FEI class of the week, the $37,000 Welcome CSI 4*-W.

The American and the 12-year-old bay Hanoverian mare (Perigueux x Gardeulan) were supreme in the contest by completing both sections of the 1.45m challenge flawlessly, tripping the final timers in 24.15 seconds.

Conor Swail (IRL) & Count Me In

Conor Swail (IRL) has been one of the most consistent riders in North America this second semester with several wins and many placings and that was once again the case. The Irishman rode Count Me In (Count Grannus x Sherlock Holmes) to a second-place finish, just over three-tenths of a second slower than the eventual winners.

Katie Laurie (NZL) & Koss van Heiste

Despite their recent partnership, Katie Laurie (NZL) and Koss van Heiste (Breemeersen Adorado x Contact vd Heffinck) managed to secure bronze honors, backed by a clean effort all the way to the wire and a final time of 24.96 seconds.
