It’s a Win for William Whitaker & Jalellah OL in €26,000 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3* at Oliva Nova

Oliva Nova, Spain – December 10, 2021 – William Whitaker (GBR) and Jalellah OL rode for the win in Friday’s 1.45m Grand Prix qualifier, the €26,000 Dammann Reitplatz- u. Sportplatzbau GmbH Trophy CSI 3*, during the last week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Autumn MET III. The British rider and the 2008 bay Oldenburg mare (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) advanced to and completed the second part of the two-phase challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, securing the win in 26.02 seconds at the end of the final part of the contest.

Frequent winners at the venue, Harold Boisset (FRA) and Divine de La Roque ( For Hero de Hus x Kannan) came close to registering another blue ribbon to their collection, this time settling for second place in 26.37 seconds.

Alexander Schill (GER) and Chelsea Gravelotte were a pleasant surprise in the 1.45m challenge, overcoming many of the favorites, finishing only three-hundredths of a second off the pace of the latter two, timed at 26.40 seconds.
