Ratières, France – December 03, 2021 – The second week of the Hubside Jumping Valence Winter Tour continued on Friday at Haras des Grillons de Ratières, in Drôme, and Frenchman François-Xavier Boudant (FRA) was the fastest, associated with his gelding of ten years old, Brazyl du Mezel. The dynamic duo stole the spotlight, claiming top honors in the €35,000 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 4*.

For this second week in a row, the courses are designed by the French course manager Cédric Longis. Boudant and the 2011 chestnut Selle Français gelding (Haloubet de Gorze x Apache d’Adriers) registered a double clear and the fastest time amongst the 9 combinations that challenged the 1.50 jump-off course, tripping the final timers in 33.53 seconds for the victory.

Colombian René Lopez Lizarazo (COL) came close to earning a home win, securing silver honors on Cheyenne de La Violle, doing so just thirteen-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.

In third place, Simon Delestre (FRA), at the helm of Cayman Jolly Lumper (Nabab de Reve x Utah Van Erpekom), also posted a clean scorecard, registering no penalties and 34.85 seconds at the end of their performance in the tiebreaker.
