Stockholm, Sweden – November 26, 2021 – Peder Fredricson (SWE) and H&M Cruisader Ice registered the second win in as many days last Friday during the Sweden International Horse Show CSI 4*, claiming top honors in the $64,000 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4*.
After claiming top honors in the $64,000 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* the previous day, the number-one ranked rider in the world and 2021 Longines Global Champions Tour teamed up with the 10-year-old bay Swedish Warmblood stallion (Cabachon x Corland) topped the 1.40m challenge by clearing all the fences and crossing the finish line in 56.09 seconds.
Moreover, it was dejá vu for Stephanie Holmén (SWE) and Comete Saint Just (Kannan*Gfe x Quidam de Revel), who duplicated the feat of finishing second to Peder in Thursday’s feature class. This time the duo posted a penalty-free performance in 58.47 seconds for reserve honors.
Once again and to their delight, Swedish spectators witnessed a trifecta by riders from the host nation. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) rode Zuccero (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caretino 2 ) towards bronze honors, registering no penalties in 59.01 seconds.
