Victor Bettendorf & Pasha du Gue Power towards Victory in €25,400 Two-Phase CSI 4* at Vilamoura

Vilamoura, Portugal – November 12, 2021 – Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Pasha du Gue powered towards victory in the €25,400 Two-Phase CSI 4* yesterday during the fifth week of the 2021 Vilamoura Champions Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.

A total of 98 lined up for the class, with 30 of them clearing the first section of the course to advance to second the second phase of the 1.50m challenge. After a clean performance over the first part, Bettendorf once again guided the 2003 bay Selle Français gelding (Tlaloc M x Darco) flawlessly over the second section, registering the fastest time of 25.20 seconds for the victory.

A commmon presence on the podium at the venue, Michael Pender (IRL) secured a second-place finish aboard HHS Fast Forward (Fortunus x Cavalier Royale), tripping the final timers in 25.98 seconds.

Leon Thijssen (NED) and Faithless MVDL (Ukato x Clinton) completed the podium backed by a penalty-free effort all the way to the end, rounding out the top three in 26.49 seconds.
