Mark Bluman & Noortje vd Windheuvel Win $37,000 Speed Challenge CSI 3* at Aiken

Aiken, South Carolina, USA – November 10,2021 – Mark Bluman (COL) closed out day one the same way he started, with a win, claiming top honors on Wednesday at the Split Rock Jumping Tour‘s Aiken International CSI 3*. The Colombian teamed up with Noortje vd Windheuvel to steal the spotlight in the feature class of the day, the $37,000 Speed CSI 3*

Bluman and the 8-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood mare (Farfelu de Muze x Kannan) edged out Aaron Vale (USA) and Elusive by one hundredth of a second for the victory, 58.37 compared to 58.38 seconds, both combinations leaving all the poles up for no penalties.

Aaron Major (USA) also secured the third spot on the podium, this time by guiding Major towards a penalty-free performance in 60.240 seconds.
