
Oliva Nova, Spain – November 05, 2021 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Cheynne d’Auge were supreme in the Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 3* on Thursday during the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Autumn Series. A total of 92 combinations lined up for the 1.45m challenge with the Frenchman and the 2012 bay Selle Français mare (Guarana Champeix x Diamant de Semilly) having the upper hand due to their penalty-free performance in 62.67 seconds.
The second spot on the podium was claimed by one of Great Britain’s rising stars. Joseph Stockdale (GBR) rode Equine America Kandleford (Kannan x Pythagoras) towards silver honors in 65.05 seconds.
The host nation was represented on the podium with Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (ESP) and Balasco de L’Abbaye (Ugano Sitte x Le Tot de Semilly) claiming bronze honors after crossing the finish line in 66.17 seconds.
