Mohamed Weaam & Morocco Marvel in €25,500 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 3*

Oliva Nova, Spain – October 16, 2021 – Mohamed Weaam (EGY) stole the spotlight last Saturday at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour. The young Egyptian teamed up with Morocco to win the feature class of the day, €25,500 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 3*.

The 19-year-old Egyptian sensation guided the 2008 chestnut Hanoverian stallion  (For Edition x Wanderer) masterfully over all the 1.45m obstacles in their two performances, overcoming several traditional names and experienced riders too. The dynamic duo registered a penalty-free jump-off effort in 38.30 seconds for the victory.

Clem McMahon (IRL) and TJM Amour Fou were the closest ones, the only difference being their final time of 39.16 seconds.

The third spot on the podium was claimed by Lars Bak Andersen (DEN) and Ethene (San Patrignano Corrado x Cayado 3), backed by a clean scorecard and a time of 39.30 in the tiebreaker.
