Grimaud, France – October 14, 2021 – Once again, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Cheyenne d’Auge left their mark while competing at the Hubside Jumping, claming their third consecutive win.

The Frenchman and the 2012 bay Selle Français mare (Guarana Champeix x Diamant de Semilly) seemed untouchable in Grimaud. At the start of Thursday afternoon, the dynamic duo sped to victory in the €25,400 Hubside Special Two Phase CSI 5*, being almost 2 seconds ahead of the closest competitors.

The rest of the podium was completed by Belgium with Wilm Vermeir (BEL) and Joyride S (Toulon x Pachat II) securing silver honors in 38.21 seconds.

Grégory Wathelet (BEL) rode Berline du Maillet Z (Berlin x Action-Breaker) to the third spot on the podium, advancing to and completing the second phase of the contest without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the final timers in 38.86 seconds.

Winner’s Circle – Julien Epaillard (FRA)

She did two classes last week, she won both, today she did it again, I can’t be anything other than pleased with Cheyenne,” proudly smiled the rider. She’ll be doing the 1.50m speed class on Saturday, it’ll be one of her first over a track of this size. She’s just done the Bourg en Bresse 4* Grand Prix and the 3* one in Cabourg so we will see if she has made progress over this height.”
