
Vilamoura, Portugal – October 14, 2021 – Laura Renwick (GBR) and Arkuga sped to another victory on Thursday at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre. The Brit and the 2011 bay Anglo-European gelding (Arko III x Heartbreaker) overcame 26 other combinations in the โฌ10,000 Speed Challenge CSI 4*, clearing all the 1.45 obstacles before crossing the finish line in 66.11 seconds for the victory.
Thierry Goffinet (BEL) and Euptric Van Beek (Clintord x Up And Down Celle Broderbos) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing second only six-hundredths of a second behind.
The third spot on the podium was claimed another rider known for his speed on rings all over the world. David Will (GER) piloted Undercover Z towards bronze honors, backed by a penalty-free effort in 66.64 seconds.
