Grimaud, France – October 08, 2021 – Two wins the day before, one on Friday! Julien Epaillard (FRA) is unstoppable ! “He even gave himself the luxury of braking” was heard as the Frenchman was about to jump the final obstacle. Against 9 others in the jump-off, and piloting Cheyenne d’Auge he was unstoppable, seizing victory in the 1.45m €25,400 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 2*.
The Flying Frenchman guided the 2012 bay Selle Français mare (Guarana Champeix x Diamant de Semilly) towards victory in the tiebreaker, overcoming all the 1.45m obstacles before crossing the finish line in 32.65 seconds.
France’s Harold Boisset (FRA) and Divine de la Roque gave the eventual winners a run for their money, losing out only due to their final time of 33.56 seconds.
Robin Muhr (ISR) claimed the third spot on the podium aboard Stawita PS, doing so after completing their second penalty-free performance in 34.31 seconds.
