Holsteiner Online Foal Auction: The Battle of the Bids Begins!

Elmshorn, Germany – September 16, 2021 – Bidding for the Holsteiner Online Foal Auction begins today at 12noon. The auction continues until Saturday 18 September when the most exciting final auction phase, the bid-up, starts at 6.00pm.

28 foals are to be knocked down to new owners: their sires are young stallions like Keaton, Crack or Central Park, same as proven ones like Clarimo and Casall or international sport horses with current results like Uricas v/d Kattevennen and Zuccero.

Some boast bloodlines carrying interesting outcross stallions: like for example lot no 24, Enno by Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Romanov. This colt’s dam is one of the few daughters of Romanov, winner of the Global Champions Tour with Bertram Allen (IRL). Bred through Cassini II and Landgraf in the female line, this foal wows with a top pedigree: his second dam’s show jumping produce includes two horses successfully competed at the 2019 national championship, Conquista (Ingrid Klimke) and Tornado MT (Sandra Auffahrt), who has now made it to advanced level.

The collection also caters to friends of the Holsteiner dressage horse by offering interesting lots by stallions like For Romance or Sezuan’s Donnerhall. Potential buyers should register online in good time prior to the start of the auction. Bidding is open from Thursday 16 September, 12 noon. The so-called bid-up starts on Saturday 18 September, from 6.00pm with each bid extending the auction time for the foal in question by two minutes.
