After Silvana de Hus‘s silver medal at the Tryon World Championships for the French team, Conrad de Hus‘s individual silver at the Aachen European Championships and Corée de Hus‘s victory in the legendary Aachen Grand Prix, it was Quel Homme de Hus‘s turn to add Olympic bronze by team during the Tokyo Olympics to the Hus’s list of achievements. And this, after winning gold at the European Championships, again by team.
Behind these spearheads, dozens of horses compete on the international circuit, also shining the spotlight on the stud, showing the quality of the recruitment carried out since its founding in 2005.
Today, the Haras de Hus is organizing a first auction formed exclusively of embryos to be born in 2022, all sexed. A collection with exceptional genetics but above all very varied.
Gilles Botton, in charge of show jumping at the stud farm, comes back with us on this extraordinary collection.
“Amongst these genetics, we find an embryo from Oh d’Eole‘s first daughter, Isis de Hus (Baloubet du Rouet) with the indestructible Utamaro d’Ecaussines. “Isis is only two years old and she showed us a lot of similarities to her dam who was a true warrior. This filly has everything for great sport. I think this is anopportunity to be seized, both to be able to acquire an embryo from such a promising filly, and to buy one of the very last products of the Baloubet du Rouet x Oh d’Eole cross which will be put on the Market.”
It’s also the opportunity for the stud to present one of its latest recruits: Coccinelle Hero Z. “Daughter of Comme Il Faut and Quasibelle du Seigneur, it’s quite simply extraordinary genetics. She is a mare with incredible technique, respect and quality of jumping and we hope with Mylord Carthago to bring back some more resources for the great sport.”
But in addition to the young shoots, the stud obviously relies on its reference dams like Babouchka de Hus, the uterine sister of the global phenomenon Chacco Blue, present here with two products: “We chose Mumbai for two reasons; the first one because he’s a fantastic horse, really in sight today and secondly because we know this line all the more since the stud has also acquired its uterine sister whom we particularly like. Babouchka herself is a mare with a lot of blood, that’s why we crossed her with a horse that should bring a lot of strength as it’s the case with Mylord Carthago.”
This is also the case for Bikini de Hus, Levistan’s daughter with the famous Silvana de Hus: “We crossed her with Kannan because the first filly that had been sold at Haras des Coudrettes created a sensation last year at Fontainebleau. Another product of Bikini with Baloubet du Rouet stood out in Gesves during the Belgian championships for young horses under the colors of Grégory Wathelet’s stables.”
We also find a product of Umali Z (Untouchable) who is none other than the daughter of Pialotta, 4th at the Aachen World Games with Edwina Alexander (AUS) after having performed under the saddles of Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Rolf Goran Bengtsson. “She’s a mare whose products have always sparked a lot of interest at auctions. We crossed her with Mylord Carthago because she’s a mare that needs some strength.”
France de Hus (Fergar Mail) will be one of the stars of this sale with a future filly: “France is the best daughter of Banda de Hus. We crossed her with an exceptional stallion who now receives all the praise: Balou du Reventon.
But there is more than that, because among these 20 embryos, you will also find the lines of Jumpy de Kreisker, Rinnetou Z, Vintadge de la Roque, Nifrane de Kreisker, Quickly de Kreisker, Conrad de Hus, Cella and of course, the queen from Haras de Hus’s latest auction, Orlis I, which features here a future sister to Bella Donna by Heartbreaker. An exceptional and varied catalog that you will find in detail on:
The sale will begin on August 29th with the auction of the future full sister of All In, the only horse in history to win a double Olympic silver medal and who also won gold by team with Sweden under Peder Fredricson (SWE) saddle. His full brother was sold a few weeks ago for no less than 130,000 euros…
