Koen Vereecke & Kasanova de La Pomme “are the Kings” in Deauville Sotheby’s International Realty Small Grand Prix CSI 3*

Deauville, France – August 15, 2021 – Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Kasanova de La Pomme claimed the crown in the โ‚ฌ15,700 Deauville Sotheby’s International Realty Small Grand Prix CSI 3* last Saturday during the Longines Deauville Classic CSI 3* at the Pรดle International du Cheval โ€“ Longines Deauville.

The Belgian and the 11-year-old bay Belgian stallion (Bamako de Muze – Everlychin de La Pomme) triumphed in the 1.45m jum-off challenge, registering no penalties and the winning mark of 37.48 seconds in the decisive round.

Hugo Breul (FRA) and Utahmano Alu (Mylord Carthago*HN x Virstly Gede) were the closest ones, finishing second only due to their jump-off time of 38.92 seconds.

Although the host nation was denied victory in the contest, the host country did managed to have two of their riders among the top three. Alexis Deroubaix (FRA) and Aldo du Plessis (Orient Express x Palestro II) secured bronze honors after completing their second effort flawlessly and in 39.29 seconds.
