
Tokyo, Japan – August 02, 2021 – Showjumping is just a few hours away from taking the main stage at the Baji Koen Equestrian Park. The first individual jumping contest during the 2020 edition of the Olympic Games will take place this Tuesday. Seventy-three combinations from 35 nations are set to face Santiago Varela‘s challenging course tomorrow.
The renowned Spaniard course designer has elaborated the first test, featuring 14 obstacles and a total of 17 elements spread over 450 meters. The course plan for the first individual competition at the Olympic Games is the following:
