
Dinard, France – July 18, 2021 – British showjumping did not go back home empty handed in the 2021 edition of the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5* & 3*. Amy Inglis (GBR) shone the brightest in the L’Eperon Charles de Cazanove Grand Prix CSI 3*.The 2021 edition of the event concluded with two grands prix, the first one being the three-star level class that featured 38 combinations from 14 nations challenging 1.50m obstacles on the course designed by Jean Philippe Desmaret (FRA).
A total of eight combinations advanced to the jump-off but it was Inglis and the 2008 chestnut Anglo-European Sport Horse mare (Guidam x Wellington) who were supreme, backed by a penalty-free jump-off performance in 41.51 seconds.
Representing one of the smallest countries in the world, Charlotte Bettendorf (LUX) put on a big performance aboard Nababette Z (Nabab de Reve x Gasper), finishing second only due to their final time of 42.08 seconds.
The host nation managed to secure bronze honors, with Juliette Faligot (FRA) guiding Arqana de Riverland (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly) towards two fault-free efforts, the decisive one in 43.48 seconds.
