Dinard, France – July 16, 2021 – The second day of competition at the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5* offered top-level riders engaged two opportunities to shine on the grass arena and it was Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) Citadin du Chatellier who shone the brighest, claiming top honors in the €25,400 Conseil Départemental D’Ille Et Vilaine CSI 5*
Riding the 2012 bay Selle Français gelding (L’Arc de Triomphe* Bois Margot x Diamant de Semilly), the Frenchman sped to victory in the 1.45m challenge, completing their penalty-free performance in 69.38 seconds.
Lorenzo De Luca (ITA) and Malissa de Muze (Vigo d’Arsouilles STX x For Pleasure) matched the clean effort by the eventual winners, finishing second in 70.12 seconds.
As displayed during much of her summer tour in Europe, Lillie Keenan (USA) was consistent again. The American and Agana Van Het Gerendal Z (Aganix du Seigneur x Topas) were a half second off the time set by the latter two, a mark which earned them bronze honors.
