Dinard, France – July 15, 2021 – The CSI 3* competitors were the first to go on the grass arena this morning in the 1.45m speed class sponsored by Les estivales de L’Equitation.
45 pairs were on the start list. The Irish Dermott Lennon (IRL), riding his 12-year-old mare MJM Pursuit, clinches victory in a time of 69’’73. Delighted with this result, for his first participation in the Jumping of Dinard, in spite of the eighteen hours of ferry trip, the rider declares: “usually, I watch this show on TV, since we are preparing for the Dublin Horse Show, which is very important for us. I am really happy to be here this year. I came with four horses, among which two seven year old and two for the CSI 3*.”
Placed second, in a time of 70’’60, Margaux Rocuet (FRA), based in the family-run stables in Saint Helen (22), associated to her 8-year-old mare, Dubai du Cèdre, runner-up at the national championship of the 7-year-old in 2020. “She is a warrior, she gives everything for her rider, I could easily imagine her on this grass arena. She flew over the difficulties with ease and comfort.”
