Saint-Tropez, France – June 19, 2021 – Winner of the €100,000 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 4* last week at the Hubside Jumping Grimaud-Golfe de Saint-Tropez, the American Jessica Springsteen (USA) came close to winning again in today’s major event, still associated with RMF Tinkerbell (Incolor x Argentinus), this time in the CSI 5*. Two fingers or rather twenty-seven hundredths of a second, was indeed what separated her from the one who finally seized the victory, the Irishman Darragh Kenny (IRL) aboard Vinci de Beaufour.

In the saddle on the 2009 chestnut Selle Français gelding (Diamant de Semilly x Heartbreaker), the Irishman showed his skills in the tiebreaker towards a the fastest penalty-performance, being timed in 34.59 seconds.
Italian Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) and Calle Deluxe completed the podium, backed by a clean scorecard and a jump-off time of 35.03 seconds.
Winner’s Circle – Darragh Kenny (IRL)
“I started riding Vinci de Beaufour in mid-January. He’s a really great horse! It’s owned by a good friend, Devon MacNeil, and his father. They bought Vinci there. is about a year old and he’s a fantastic horse. I love him. We jumped a few big Grands Prix in Wellington this winter, then he was resting for a few weeks in the US. He’s been back in Europe for a while, ten days and it’s his first show. I really think he can make a great Grand Prix horse. Usually, I take time to build my horses, but in his case everything goes faster, having participated in the Grand Prix endowed with US $ 500,000 in Wellington: he jumped very well and I think he can develop into having a very good career at the top level.”
