Harry Charles & Valkiry de Zance Victorius in $60,000 Land Rover Speed & Handiness Challenge CSIO 5*

St. Gallen, Switzerland – June 05, 2021 – The British rider Harry Charles (GBR) and Valkiry de Zance were victorious in the $60,000 Land Rover Speed & Handiness Challenge CSIO 5* on Saturday during Longines CSIO 5* of St. Gallen.

A total of 26 combinations entered the ring to answer all the questions along the 1.50m course, with only four of them completing it without having any penalties attributed to their scorecard. The Brit and the 12-year-old chestnut Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Double Espoir) triumphed despite having four penalties (seconds) added to their final time, registering a total of 94.69 seconds for the victory.

Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) on Hera de Landetta II (Bustique x Cartano) were clear, securing the second spot on the podium backed by a time of 95.50 seconds.

Switzerland managed another top-three finish with Marc Röthlisberger (SUI) and Carlchen (Cosido x Leandro), completing the podium in 96.15 seconds.
