Laura Renwick & Arkuga are the Aces in €25,600 Equipe Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*

Gorla Minore, Italy – April 17, 2021 – Laura Renwick (GBR) and Arkuga were back on top form to win the €25,600 Equipe Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3* last Saturday during the CSI 3* of Gorla Minore at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre.

The Brit guided the 10-year-old Anglo-European Sport Horse (AES) gelding (Arko III x Heartbreaker) flawlessly over all the 1.50m obstacles, advancing to and completing the second section of the course without having any penalties attributed to them. The duo stopped the final timers in 26.82 seconds.

Bryan Balsiger (SUI) and Twenty-two des Biches (Mylord Carthago*HN x )were the closest ones, still over a second behind after a penalty-free effort all the way to the finish line in 27.96 seconds.

After having returned from the winter circuit in Wellington, Martin Fuchs (SUI) and his horses were on top form throughout the week. The Swiss rider secured a third-place finish aboard Conner 70 (Connor 48 x Cosimo), timed in 28.11 seconds.
