
Doha, Qatar – February 27, 2021 – Besides the €410,000 Commercial Bank Grand Prix CSI 5*, presented by Longines, the final day of the 2021 Commercial Bank CHI Al Shaqab 5* also featured another five-star class. After winning the €25,400 Two-Phase Special Class CSI 5* on the first day of competition there, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Safari d’ Auge jumped to the top spot once again.
The Frenchman guided the 15-year-old bay Selle Français mare (Diamant de Semilly x Marquise du Grimeux) flawlessly throughout the course, registering no penalties and a blazing time of 67.99 seconds for the win.

Eduardo Álvarez (ESP) and Legend (Ogano Sitte x Nabab de Reve) claimed second place after a clean effort in 70.53 seconds.

Maikel Van Der Vleuten (NED) and Kamara v’ant Heike (Epleaser van’t Heike x Cartha) also had no penalties attributed to them, rounding out the winners’ podium with a time of 72.25 seconds.
