Christian Ahlmann & Dominator 2000 Z Fly the Highest in €410,000 Grand Prix CSI 5* at Doha

Doha, Qatar – February 27, 2021 – Christian Ahlmann (GER) on Dominator 2000 Z reigned supreme against the best of the best in the spectacular €410,000 Commercial Bank CHI Al Shaqab Grand Prix CSI 5*, presented by Longines in the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab.

The German and the 11-year-old black Zangersheide stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Cassini I) dazzled in Grand Prix run over two rounds + jump-off class, clocking 36.17 seconds without any penalty-points  in the jump-off to claim top honors. Her Highness Sheikha  Moza bint Nasser, chairperson of Qatar Foundation, awarded Ahlmann the prestigious winner’s trophy.  

Olivier Robert (FRA) & Vivaldi des Meneaux

Olivier Robert (FRA) and Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z x Bamako) registered the second fastest clear performance in the tiebreaker, earning silver honors with a final time of 36.27 seconds. 

Niels Bruynseels (BEL) & Delux van T&L

A total of six combinations advanced to the decisive and all of them managed to have triple clear rounds. Niels Bruynseels (BEL) on Delux van T&L (Toulon x Landetto)  secured the third spot on the podium backed by a time of 36.82 seconds.
