Wellington, Florida, USA – February 12, 2021 – Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) management is pleased to announce that due to the success of classes during Week 2 and 4 on the Derby Field, in addition to overwhelming requests from the riders, the FEI classes during Week 11 will be moved from the International Arena at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) to the Derby Field at Equestrian Village.
This change will allow for the $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI 5*, along with the other CSI 5* and CSI 2* classes during Week 11, to be held on the popular Derby Field. In order to preserve the quality and integrity of the grass ahead of Week 11, the CSI5* and CSI2* classes during Week 9 that were originally slated to be held at the Derby Field, including the $401,000 Fidelity Investments® Grand Prix CSI5*, will now take place in the International Arena at PBIEC.
Due to this change, the $401,000 Fidelity Investments® Grand Prix CSI5* will be at 7 p.m. EST on Saturday, March 13. The $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* will be at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday, March 27.
The dates of both weeks will remain unchanged, with Week 9 taking place from March 10-14 and Week 11 taking place from March 24-28.
Stay tuned for further updates as we fine tune the schedule and class start times. Thank you!
