Puebla, Mexico – January 30, 2021 – Manuel Chechic (ARG) and Abril Giquadana Semilly stole the spotlight last Saturday during the at Quintas Ecuestres, claiming victory in the Grand Prix CSI 3*.
The Argentinian and the 9-year-old bay mare were the only combination to leave all the poles up in the first round 1.50m course, claiming the victory with one time-penalty after crossing the finish line in 84.01 seconds.
Five combinations registered a score of four penalty-points in the first round but it was Jose Antonio Chedraui (MEX) and Mighty Mouse (Quartz Aldeheid Z x Codexco) who were the fastest ones, securing second place in 79.85 seconds.
The third spot on the podium was claimed by Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane (MEX) and Martialis, timed in 80.59 seconds.
