
Valencia, Spain – January 31, 2021 – Michael Greeve (NED) and Guan GJB were the Masters of the first week of the CES Valencia Spring Tour, claiming top honors in the €25,450 Grand Prix CSI 2* on Sunday.
Riding the 10-year-old Royal Dutch Sport Horse (Dutch Warmblood) gelding (Namelus R x Sydney), the Dutchman was supreme in the 1.45m overcoming 8 other combinations in the jump-off. The duo registered a double clear before tripping the timers in 35.08 seconds for the victory.
Guillaume Batillat (FRA) and Baby Love (Lupicor x Corland) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, matching their two performances while finishing only eleven hundredths of a second off their mark.
Kristaps Neretnieks (LAT) and J’Adore van’t Voortveld (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Bigarreau du Cap) rounded out the top three, backed by penalty-free jump-off effort in 35.82 seconds.
