Mario Deslauriers’ Amsterdam 27 to be Ridden by Teddy Vlock

Wellington, Florida, USA – January 14, 2021 – Vlock Show Stables has announced the acquisition of Mario DeslauriersAmsterdam 27 for Israeli rider Teddy Vlock. Originally ridden by Marten Witt (GER), Deslauriers teamed up with the gelding in late 2018. Besides several top finishes in high-level competitions, the 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Catoki x Acord II) has been stellar under the reins of the Canadian, registering a total of 4 FEI-level wins in just 79 starts over the past two years.

Moreover, the dark bay has also had a major win in the USEF-rated $200,000 Great American Grand Prix at Hits Saugerties. Despite still being in his youth, the gelding has been a star, going on to represent Canada at the 2019 Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru and the Nations Cup CSIO 5* in Spruce Meadows too, where the fences are set high and the courses are long.
